The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

Working for a design and media company means that we get pretty excited about new products that might help us out or offer us a bit of a gimmick to entertain us for a while.

It’s getting to that time of year again…noo not Christmas (yet) but our other favourite part of the year, when Apple will be releasing a shiny new iPhone, iOS and probably a couple of other brand spanking new products, iPad Pro anyone?

The invites sent out at the end of August for tomorrow’s launch were emblazoned with “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” No such luck though, Apple have continued their sneaky way to build up the hype.

But, is it right that the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, what can we expect? Forums and Apple experts are reporting rumours of a 3d touch screen, don’t worry you won’t have to cart a pair of red and blue glasses about with you, it’s rumoured to recognise 3 ways of touch, a tap, a press and a hard press and will navigate you differently around your apps. A new and improved Siri is on the cards too, I wonder if there are any more answers for “Siri, who let the dogs out?”

Apple’s own website doesn’t give much away but informs us of iOS9’s new features within a news app and how you can take more detailed notes (oh..)

Let’s hope they’re saving the best bits for the unveiling on Wednesday 9th September at 6pm. Watch Apple’s keynote live here .

We’ll be tuning in, will you?
